The Heritage Museum

The Heritage Center now boasts over 5000 square feet of exhibit space, with permanent exhibits featuring Invincible Spirit: History in the Heart of the Shenandoah and The Art of Tradition: Shenandoah Valley Folk Art. The museum is owned and operated by the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society whose more than 1,000 members come from every part of the U.S. and is home to the Stonewall Jackson electric map that illustrates the Civil War Valley Campaign of 1862.
