Fishersville is a growing town in Augusta County whose population has nearly doubled during the last decades.
The town of Fishersville was established in the mid-1800s. It was built around an area known as Tinkling Springs, which is home to the Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church. The church was founded in the early 1740s, and is the second-oldest Presbyterian congregation in the Shenandoah Valley. This historic building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail also runs through Fishersville.
