Ashton Country House was built sometime between 1860 and 1869 in the Federalist Revival style but is now decorated with the Victorian Era in mind. It has an incredibly rich history which includes the occupation by Confederate troops during the War Between the States.

The Miller House is one of the area's best examples of Chateauesque Victorian architecture. It is listed in the Virginia Historic Landmark Registry. The C.W. Miller house was designed by T.J. Collins in 1896. It sits at the top of a hill, just a few blocks from the quaint shopping district of Staunton, and is surrounded by an English garden.
